Ashleigh's Birth Story

Here is a little preface to the story.   When I found out I was pregnant, we were so excited!  According to my cycle, my due date was August 2nd.  When I went in for my first appointment, my doctor changed my due date to August 12th.  I have never had a doctor change a due date before, so I just said whatever and kept thinking August 2nd in my head.

When August 2nd came and went I decided that he was more correct than I thought.  So the waiting game really began after that.  I really wanted to have her before, or on the 12th because Jaxon and Kyleigh started school the 14th and I started school the 26th.  The sooner she came, the better for my sanity.  So Friday the 9th rolls around and I decided to call my doctor and schedule an induction for Monday the 12th.  To my dismay, they were booked for inductions, so he scheduled me for Sunday morning.  I told him that I really wanted to try to go without drugs, so he said he would try to make that as possible as he could for me.

So…. Late Friday night, or early Saturday morning at 1:45am I woke up to a contraction.  I decided to check the time, just in case they started coming more regularly.  So at about 2:00am I woke Lance up and told him we should probably head to the hospital.  He got the kids all in the car to head out to grammy’s house and we were off to the hospital.  We got there a little bit before 3:00am and headed to our room.  When they checked me, I was already dilated 6cm.  I told them I was going to try to go natural, but I wasn’t completely against an epidural.  They called my doctor and he decided to make his way to the hospital. Lance and I just got to hang out while the contractions started coming, during this first initial period they were not too bad at all.  It was nice to be able to look forward for the contraction to be over, because this was the hard part with being induced.  There usually is no break in between those suckers!  So they told me they would check me whenever I wanted, or whenever they thought it would be a good time.  Shift change for the nurses was around 5, so my nurse wanted to check me before she left. I was 8cm, and she asked me if I wanted to wake the doctor up and have him break my water to speed anything up.  I told her no, I was fine with my progression.

The new nurse then came in and it was about 5:30am or so.  At this point the contractions really started coming more quickly, I was to the point where I really had to breathe through each one and definitely could not talk.  She offered me a ball to sit on to see if it would be more comfortable, I said that sounded good.  As soon as she came back with the ball I started to feel more and more pressure.  I felt like I had to pee so bad!!  She told me to try to go, and then she would check me.  So I attempted to go to the bathroom, which was unsuccessful, then got back into the bed.  I was complete and ready to push!  She called the doctor…. Then all of the sudden my water broke, Lance even heard it!  While the doctor was on his way, I was having these crazy sensations to push, and my body was not about to let me stop.  It was kind of like an out of body experience, because my body was doing what it needed to do and I was just kind of there, kind of amazing!  So, I let it go on and push

When the doctor came in, I told him I was pretty sure I just pushed the head out.  I am not sure if he believed me or not, but after he got all sterile, he lifted him the sheet and sure enough saw a head.  Then he proceeded to help with the shoulders and there she was…at 6:08am.  2 pushes later.

It was a quick and a great experience. I had everything work out perfectly and I was so happy, it was such a blessing to me! I would do it again if I were having any more babies!! Just wanted to document it so I could remember it for myself!

What happened in 2012??

I don't even know if anyone reads this anymore, but I decided I would just update people on what is going on in our life.  So 2012 was sure a year of challenges!  Lance lost his job of 4 years at Goodwood BBQ Company, which we were completely suprised by.  They had asked him repeatedly to manage for them, but he made more money just bartending/serving so he always turned them down.  If you want more details about the ridiculous reason he was fired, call me;) So anyway, I was in the computer lab during my second semester of Nursing school when got a phone call from Lance telling me the bad news.  We were both kind of, well, freaking out because I could not really get a job until the end of the semester and Lance was making pretty good money there and supporting a family of 5.  Well he ended up getting a job at Texas Roadhouse and I got my LPN license and got a job as well at South Davis Community Hospital.  Since I had not worked in like 4 years, it was hard to get used to at first.  I am so grateful for my job now because I think it has made me a better nurse, especially since I have been working during my second year of Nursing school. When fall semester started, Lance got a second job at Buffalo Wild Wings.  So, we works two jobs currently.. morning and night. Which he totally hates!! After 12 years in the restaurant business, I think he should be done.  What really is hard about both of our jobs is neither of us get paid time off or holiday pay, so if we do not work, we do not make money.  That kind of sucks sometimes!
I am proud to say I made it through that 3rd semester of Nursing school!  It was honestly HELL, with everything going on, but I did it. Some days I would just cry into my pillow because I was so stressed.  Having a kid in 1st grade and kindergarten is a joy in terms of transportation, my mother-in-law and friends helped out a lot though and I was very thankful.  Kade also is quite the handful as well.  Some days I would be sitting there studying and he would come sit on my lap and tear my pages in my book or something.  So I honestly rarely did homework when the kids were awake.  After the dinner, kids homework, stories, bedtime, if I did not pass out while trying to study I was lucky.  I was suprised I got a 3.95.. that darn A-!
I am not trying to make this a complaining post, but it was honestly one of the hardest times of my life.  Moving out at 16, getting pregnant so young, and then married has made life just happen so fast.  It is so hard to try and balance everything and not have bad moments.  I think the past year has made Lance and I stronger as a couple and as parents.  Now we are expecting baby #4!  Ya, we might be crazy but I graduate in April and am taking some time off from school, so it won't be too crazy. It was just a rough winter break because I had this long To Do List, but I ended up throwing up and laying in bed most of the break:( Hopefully the nausea will pass now, 1st trimester down!! We did get to finish our basement this past year, which was one of the best things ever, so that is exciting!
So, nothing super exciting going on at our house this past year. My kids are just awesome and growing up too fast!  They are all so fun right now.  I just wanted to update those people that still read this.  After I graduate in April I plan to quite being a hermit and come out from my shell!

1st semester down!!

Here are our family pictures for the year. They turned out super cute and I had a hard time not posting like all of them.

These 3 kids are just awesome!

See the drool dripping down from his chin onto his shirt? This is him 24/7!

He looks more like his daddy every year

I had to beg her to wear a skirt on a day other then Sunday, she is such a tom boy!

So I have been out of school for about 3 weeks now and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I have actually become a bum, because I really think I needed a break psychologically. So the semester went better then I thought it would go. I had to quit breast feeding Kade right before I started because he would not take a bottle. I had two long days at school and I did not want Lance or my mother-in-law to be stuck with a crazy baby. I really was heart broken because this time around I worked SO SO hard to get a good milk supply because previously it has not been great. I talked to the pediatrician and he told me that 4 months was great for breast feeding, and that sometimes if mom is stressed out it can effect milk supply and therefore have an impact on baby. Kade actually was a lot less fussy as soon as he started formula, I am pretty sure he did not something in my diet. He still is super picky with nipples on bottles, the little stinker. Sometimes I burst into tears because I wish I could nurse my baby, but it is just life. Darn school! I am really really enjoying it though! I feel so blessed that I got into the program because I was not really expecting to. I am really looking forward to next semester because we have our med/surg class and ob/maternity and pediatrics. The whole reason I went into nursing was to work in labor and delivery babies, so we will see how I feel about it when I actually do.

Jaxon started kindergarten this year and it has been quite an adjustment. I don't know if it was that I started school as well or if he has to go to school every day, but he had a rough time for a couple of months. He would get super cranky after I picked him up after school and just have these tantrums that I have not seen. It has been much better lately though, hopefully we can keep up this good attitude. He is learning so much and is reading really well. He reads this series of books called Sam books that build on eachother. I am really impressed with all the sight words he knows. When we go through his list of sight words we make sentences for each word and he is pretty hilarious. I just love his fun personality!!

Kyleigh is in her second year of preschool. She seems to be learning the same things that she learned last year, so that gets frustrating. It's good for her though, she will be super ready for kindergarten. She is just the biggest sweetheart ever. She is so good at helping with baby Kade and will do anything I ask. She always tells me that she loves me and she just makes me so happy. She is a sunbeam and her teachers tell me that she is so good. They put her in between kids that need to stay quiet. I am so proud of her. She is also in gymnastics and she really is enjoying it. I hope to get her into a dance class as well soon. She is kind of a tom boy, so we wil see if she ends up even liking any of this girly stuff. Her and Jaxon both played soccer this past fall as well. She was on a team with only 4 players, so she got a lot of playing time. She seemed to get even more because 1 of the 4 players usually sat there and cried. Oh the joys of 4 year old soccer. They both play again this spring, so that will be something to look forward to.

Kade is full of personality! He is now 8 months!! He seems to hit these milestones in life way to fast and I just want to pause time and hold him! He started doing this worm break dance crawl move about a month ago. Now he finally realized his knees work much better! The other day he started crawling up the stairs. I have no way to block them and there are 16 of them, so we really need to keep a super close eye on him all the time. Hopefully he gets really good, really fast! That would make me feel a little better about things.

Lance is still at Goodwood. I wish he could get a new job because it is super hard doing the kids homework, feed them dinner, put them to bed, and then do my homework every night. I know these things happen in life and I don't like to whine, but it is so hard. It is also wearing on me, because he has had this schedule for 6 years now. Also, the kids really notice now because they are getting older, and it is sad to have the kids tell you they miss their daddy. Everything will work out though. I am so blessed that I do not have to work though. His job works for us right now.

Well sorry about the long post but that is what we have been up to these past couple of months. Our Christmas was great, the best part was hangout out with my cute little family. I feel so lucky to have 3 healthy children and my husband. Well I don't know if anyone even reads this anymore, but hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year!!

Kyleigh's bday party

So it is August I know, but I just wanted to post some pictures of Kyleigh's birthday party. Yes, it was in June. Better late then never right? So we had a big party for her this year, I wanted a lot of kids to be there. Last year it was just her and Jaxon, so this year I wanted them to be able to play with other kiddos. We had fun! We had it at grammy's house, so that is always fun! She has a big backyard, so it is super nice for big gatherings. We had dinner, cake and icecream, opened presents, and had a pinata! It was a lot of fun. She turned the big FOUR!!! Geez time flies! Well enjoy the pictures

I had a baby!

So I had a baby!! Yay! I love him tons and tons and I am SO glad that he is here. Ok so I guess I will try to tell somewhat of the story. My doctor thought I would have him early, and so did I. When the week of my due date came I was getting really bad anxiety that something bad was going to happen to my baby. I just wanted him in my arms! So at my appointment I was already dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced and was having pretty regular contractions all day for the past couple of days. She thought I would have him in the next couple of days. I told her if I didn't have him that day that I wanted to be started the next day which was Tuesday April 19. So the next day at noon I went to the hospital. I was dilated to a 4, so they were sure I would have this baby quickly. They were right! They gave me pitocin at 1:30 and my doctor broke my water at 2. I really wanted to go through labor without the epidural, but the pictocin kicked my butt! I made it to 3:30 and I was dilated to a 7. They gave me the epidural and it honestly was wonderful! With my other kids I did not like my epidurals, but this one was awesome. I could move my legs still and all I felt was pressure, no pain! So after I got the epidural the nurses decided to leave me alone in the room with my husband, which kind of scared me. About 4:30 I felt something coming out of me, pretty much a baby! I paged the nurse and she came in and assured me that I was a full 10 and baby was on his way. She then told me that she would call my doctor. I was a little concerned because my doctor wasn't there and baby was pretty much there. They would not let me put my legs up in the stir ups until the doctor was there because the nurses said they did not want to have to deliver the baby. They said that if I didn't have an epidural they would have delivered. I was worried he would fall out of me, I kept feeling each contraction and felt him coming closer and closer. I told Lance not to make me laugh because I was afraid I would use a muscle that would push him right out. Luckily we had a room by the parking lot and the nurses kept looking out there to watch for my doctor. Then my doctor pulled up and ran into the hospital. As soon as she got to the room they finally put my legs in the stir ups and the while doctor was putting on gloves she pretty much caught baby on his way out. I seriously pushed like once and there he was. So he finally got here at around 5:30, a little over 4 hours after I got there. All 6 pounds and 18 inches of him! Oh and his name is Kade Kenneth Nielson! After I had him my doctor was delivering the placenta, which took forever because a piece of it was stuck. Then she told me that she was really glad I decided to have him because my placenta did not look good. Maybe that is way he was so small and hadn't been growing very well? Who knows?

So I love him and I will post pictures of him soon. ( my computer isn't working, I am using my laptop right now and don't know how to put pictures on it;) I am so thankful he is here and feel so blessed to have another little spirit sent to me straight from heaven

Best day in a long time!!!

So about 2 weeks ago the kids got pretty sick. Nothing too bad, Ky just had rough couple of nights. A downside to being pregnant is the fact that my immune system is completely down, so I get every sickness my kids get. So saturday morning Lance went to go and pick up a dresser and bookcase for Kyleigh from Ashley Furniture in Salt Lake. It ended up taking way longer then he expected, so on one of his few days off I didn't really get to see him. It kind of made me sad, plus I did not feel very good at all. It was just a bummer day. I went to drop off my netflix in the mailbox and picked up the mail. Guess what I found?? There was a letter from Weber State's Nursing Program, I was SO nervous. We opened it and they were pleased to inform me that I was accepted into the program!!! It seriously made me cry, I was so stinking excited. I really was not expecting to get in to Weber's program because of how competitive it is. I had no medical experience and I did not get re-applicant points! I was just so happy I just wanted to share my joy with whoever reads my awesome blog!!

So I am now about 35 weeks! I went to the doctor today and baby weighs 4lbs 12 oz. She got some really good pictures of him. His cheeks are getting chubby and he has chubby little arms. I am getting super excited to meet this little man. I feel so blessed to be able to have this baby growing inside of me, it is such awesome experience. So maybe the next post will be pictures of baby!!! We will see. I was induced with my other two children and this time around I just want to go into Labor on my own. I also don't really want an epidural. We will see what happens though, we are getting excited!

Almost there

So I have no reason not to be blogging because I have plenty of time on my hands. Maybe it is the lack of excitment in my life. We keep pretty busy for the most part, but a lot of the time we just hang out. I am about 32 weeks along in the good old pregnancy now and feel ready to meet this little guy. I am kind of getting stir crazy to be honest, but I am gonna have to remember that he needs to get healthy and strong before he gets here. No matter how much I am ready for him!!! It's just easier said then done to be patient.
Wow it is almost March!! Well January 12th was Jaxon's birthday. We had a batman party for him, he had a lot of fun. He turned 5 years old!! At his well check he was 30% in height and 50% in weight, a little on the short side;) He is learning what he is supposed to and is doing just awesome! So I think around the 2nd week in January I went to the doctor and she said that the baby was measuring like 2 weeks behind and she was worried about him. I was so confused because I had already gained over 20 lbs and she explained to me that is wasn't going to the baby. She said the extra calories were probably going to me because apparently I was exercising too much, well that is what she thought anyway. I felt like an awful mother because I exercise a lot and she told me just to take easy for a couple weeks and see if it made a difference. So for the next 2 weeks I walked at the gym a couple of days a week and did my yoga video. My next appointment I gained 4 lbs, the baby was back up to where he should be and I felt better. Then another 2 weeks went by and about 4 more lbs!! I am pretty much destined to not be a cute little pregnant woman. It is perfectly ok because these precious angels are totally worth it! It just takes a little more effort to loose it. So baby is growing well and I feel better about life now! I was worried for a little while there. Now I am experiencing these wonderful things called braxton hicks contractions which I never remember having before. Some nights they actually worry me, but they always go away. So that is what I have been doing the past couple of months, just trying hard to grow a human inside of me.
Oh I also turned in my Nursing Applications to Weber and the DATC. I do not hear back until the end of March or the begining of April. I is actually making me super nervous because I have no idea what to prepare for in the Fall. I sure hope I get in!! So here are some pictures of the baby and Jaxon's bday party.

The doctor took a picture of the baby's body to show my kids I am not crazy when I tell them there is a baby in there.

Ok, who wouldn't be excited to meet this perfect little person?? He looks like Kyleigh to me!

I am in the process of getting pictures developed so I don't have a super recent picture, but this is only about 2 weeks ago. I will try to take another one soon.

Awesome batman masks, they also have capes on!

The fun batman cupcakes I made. Jaxon was SO excited about them!

He wanted to make a superman serious face! What a stud

Fun birthday cake! Again, making the serious face.
Well there is an update. If anyone wants to come over and play let me know. I would love some interaction with others because I rarely see my husband and my children would love others to entertain them besides there boring growing mother;)

Year in review

So 2010 was an interesting year. I just wanted to think about it and if anyone wants to read my thoughts here they are.
*Started off the year with my baby Jaxon turning 4!!
*Had a SUPER busy spring semester in the Clinical Laboratory Science program at Weber State. I really miss it, but I think it is more the learning experience I miss. I just do not want to work in a lab.
* My parents had to move out of their house. We tried to help my mom clean it out, but she has a lot of, well JUNK! Now my sister's and I don't really have anywhere to go, because the parents don't have a house. Well that's a whole different story, so we won't open that can of worms.
*In April I found out that I was pregnant, morning sickness for about 14 weeks straight
*June 1st their was no longer a pregnancy, see previous posts for more info on that business.
*June 14th my second baby turned 3, she keeps telling me she won't grow anymore, but it's not working
* Summer was spent with my kids, LOVED IT! Pools, parks, riding bikes.
* Then some sad news about my cousin Emily, she passed away. I have not been close with her since I moved when I was 11, but I remember she was one of my favorite cousins to play with when I was little. It was good to see family, but not fun under the circumstances. She left 2 children behind. This experience reminded me how important family is, not just my own kids and husband, but everyone! I love family and I am SO blessed that I have such a big one!
*August was our 5th wedding anniversary! We went to Vegas and had a blast. Saw some shows and just had some good alone time. We were good for about 2 days, but then we missed our kids. We haven't really known anything different, so it's weird to be alone. That might sound crazy, but it's the way it is.
*Fall semester came and I decided to go a different direction in my career, so now I am just waiting for that dang nursing program. It has been a nice break!!
*Found out we were pregnant again, then I was sick for about 2 months straight. Sinus infection, brochitis. Lame stuff!!!
*The Holidays were great, because Lance got most of them off. We got to spend time with family and my kids are at such a fun age!!!
*We found out we are having a boy
*Two of my sisters got in car accidents. They both no longer have drivable vehicles and my dad pretty much can't give them anything for one. I just wish I could give them a car, but I need to get myself a new one soon that fits a third seat!!!
* I am also super thankful that the little boy growing in my belly is safe and healthy. I have a friend that just had her baby at 30 weeks or so and lost her. Here I complain daily about how fat I am getting and how awful I feel, but it is just temporary. I am so thankful for Heavenly father's plan and that we can be with our families forever.
*So this year has made me so thankful for family! That is what life is all about. I am so lucky I married into the family I did, and married a man that takes such good care of me.

So I don't really have any resolutions for the new year, but I know it will be a great one!!!

What is up???

So I haven't posted for a little while. The kids and I were sick for about a month and a half, so that was not much fun. I also got pregnant again, and this time around it has been better. I am almost 18 weeks and it is a little boy. We are pretty much super excited about it and the kids seem to be excited as well. I still get a little nervous each time I go to the doctor, so hopefully that anxiety will leave soon. I can feel this little guy moving around, so that sets my mind at ease. Now it is kind of sinking in that we are actually going to have another baby, and we are getting nervous. We haven't done the baby thing for a while! It will be a new adventure in our lives.

So I quit the Clinical Lab Science program. I did my practicum in the summer and did not really enjoy working in the lab so much. The best part was drawing the patients blood and bringing it to the lab to test. I just really like the patient interaction. I have decided once again to apply to the Nursing program. This time I have everything done, plus another Associate Degree so I hope that it will help me. So we are keeping our fingers crossed that this fall I will start the program. We will see what happens though. I will just hang out with my kiddos until I get in. For the past couple of months I haven't gone to school, so it has worked out nice since I am pregnant and don't feel awesome. It has been a nice little break. I did have to take my Medical Laboratory Technician test though and my CNA test to get into the nursing program. So I have been busy with those tests. I passed both of them so that was good! Now we can focus completely on the Holidays coming up. It is weird not having something to study for or some assignment though.

Well that is pretty much what has been up if anyone wanted to know. I also posting our family pictures that my lovely sister in law Amy took for us.

I DON"T WANT TO GO BACK!

On the way to preschool

He likes to do the tumbs up thing a lot

I just love these two

So school started on Monday and I do not want to be there right now. I have had a nice summer not really worrying about projects, papers, or tests. Going back for me right now just breaks my heart a little bit. I just love my kids and I miss them when I am gone. Alas I will go back and I will finish because ultimately it is for all of our future. It just kind of sucks while in the process. It will also help so Lance doesn't have to work nearly 60 hours a week! Jaxon and Kyleigh started preschool so that has been exciting for them. Jaxon is also starting soccer and Kyleigh is in dance and tumbling. They are getting so big and it is so much fun watching them grow up, it's bittersweet!!

Life

So reader beware this is not the happiest blog ever, but I just wanted to update those that read this on the Nielson's life. So pregnancy has been crazy, I was so sick for a month and a half. I was growing right along. With Jaxon I was SO sick and with Kyleigh I did not get too sick at all, so I had this feeling that it would be a boy. Since Lance is a server we pay for private insurance and they do not cover babies, so I had to get all signed up for medicaid. It sure does take forever, but everything worked out and we got all signed up. So I had my first appointment at 11 weeks, and she felt my uterus and everything and she said I was about right and that put my due date at December 4th. That is just what I figured out. I remembered my other doctor( who moved to Salt Lake) letting me listen to a heartbeat the first visit. I asked this new doctor and she said that it was still too early and we would just do it next time. I just said ok because she is the doctor and went and made my next appointment. So this past memorial day, at about 14 weeks into my pregnancy I went to the gym (because I have a bad addiction) and worked out for about 2 hours and then came home and noticed I was bleeding a little bit. Sorry to those of you that are grossed out, just don't continue. So the bleeding was not much at all, but later in the middle of the night I noticed a little bit more. This time it was darker, so I figured it was just old blood. Tuesday morning I called my doctor and just felt like I should go and be checked out. I was not cramping at all and no longer bleeding, I just wanted to be sure everything was ok. So I went and took the kiddos to grammys and went to the doctor. I get to the doctor and she tells me that the bleeding sounds completely normal and I probably just have a sensitive cervix. Then she proceeds to find a heartbeat. She was having a heart time so we moved into the next room to do a quick ultrasound. She thought she saw a heartbeat, but told me that she would bring me to the ultrasound tech to make sure. So I went back to the waiting room and waited patiently for the ultrasound tech. She called me back and did the ultrasound and told me she did not see anything. She then wanted to try a vaginal ultrasound just to make sure. There was NOTHING there. She then started to explain to me that this was a blighted ovum. I guess fertilization never quite finished. My body made the egg sac, but never finished the yolk sac. The yolk sac becomes the embryo=baby. So my body was producing all the right hormones and making a nice little home for nothing. It was all very weird, because I was very pregnant and then to see nothing there was so strange. So later that day I had a D&C and now I am just loving on my kids. For some reason it makes me feel better to know that there was never a baby in there, because then at least I know my body did not do anything wrong. It was just fluke fertilization pretty much. For now I am just going to enjoy the summer off with my kids and hopefully start getting some fun pictures up of our adventures. Well sorry about the not so happy post, but I just wanted to let people know.

Suprise suprise

So for those of you that were not aware, Lance and I are expecting baby number 3! We are excited about it. I got Jaxon a shirt that said "big brother" and Kyleigh one that said "big sister." They are pretty excited about it. Jaxon is just getting impatient already, he keeps asking me when the baby is going to come out. I don't think he realizes how long it really will be. So we are expecting sometime in December, I will update what the doctor says when I go. I can tell I am preggo, I am tired and my stomach has been buggin me! Hopefully this one will not lead to 50 lbs of extra lovin:)

I just finished my las final today and am SO excited to have the summer off. I really need a break. Well hopefully I will get some pictures posted on here soon of our adventures.
Thanks for reading,
Kathy:)

School needs to finish for a minute!

Ok I am so sick of school, I need a break. I drive up to Weber State EVERY day, which takes about 25- 30 minutes one way. I am there some nights until 5. It just is rough because I find myself trying to be a perfectionist at everything I do. From being a mom, to school, to exercise, to being a wife. Thank goodness I am not employed, I would go completely insane. If I did not care so much about trying to do everything the best I can, I think it would be easier. It also is rough because I only see my husband probably 8 hours a week, if that.
So I have decided to take the summer off!!!! This means I will be in school longer, but I feel like a break is needed. I might get a little bored this summer, but I am sure I will manage.

anyways..........

Funny story, Kyleigh is now potty trained and has been for about maybe 2 months now. Sometimes she has accidents and I probably should not get mad at her but I do because she knows better now. Both our bathrooms are upstairs so it is hard to run to the bathroom and make it, but I am suprised with how good they are. Yesterday Kyleigh comes downstairs from going to the bathroom and had new underwear on. I said, "Kyleigh why do you have new underwear on?"
Kyleigh says, "cause I wanted these ones." Ok I thought to myself, that's fine, whatever.
Later in the evening, guess what I found in my bathroom garbage can? I found soaken wet little GIRL underwear. They for sure were peed in! So I go ask Kyleigh, " Kyleigh, why did you throw your underwear away?" Kyleigh bursts into tears and says, " Jaxon peed in my underwear."
I said, " Jaxon does not wear little girl underwear, he has little boy underwear." This little arguement went on back and forth for a while. Then, I tried to calm her down and say, " Kyleigh did you have an accident, it's fine if you did, just tell me?" Oh my goodness, this little stubborn girl would not quit blamming jaxon and crying.
I finally got it out of her! I asked her, " Kyleigh did you try to go to the bathroom and forget to take off your underwear? So you peed in them?" Finally she just cried out, " yyyyeesss'." She was so sad. So what a sneaky little girl, throwing away the evidence and then blamming her brother for it. I feel bad because she just did not want to get into trouble. I just thought I would share that little story, because I thought it was funny! I need to start writing down all of the funny things my kids do, because time is flying by and I don't want to forget them.
Thanks for reading:)

Jaxon is FOUR!!!

So I have taken a trip down memory lane and it makes me so sad that time is flying by sooooo FAST!!! My little Jaxon turned FOUR on tuesday! I can not believe it. I just wanted to post some pictures of my little man's life so far. He is my best little buddy and I am so thankful for him! He came as a SURPISE and I would not change it for the world. I remember the day I found out! I was SO scared!!!!! Lance was with me, and after 4 positive pregnancy tests we were still not positive it was real. A trip to planned parenthood made it REAL! I was so young and not even ready to be married; I wondered why heavenly father would allow this to happen. What kind of parents would we make? I knew I did not have parents that could help me either. We also barely had any education behind us! I was not ready to be a mom and Lance was not ready to be a dad. Obviously we made some quick big decisions; we got married (and in the interest of not writing a novel), things have turned out just fine! I love Jaxon and I think he has been the biggest blessing in mine and Lance's life! He is a joy and is full of love. He has a great personality as well. He also adores his little sister and refers to her as "my baby sister." I feel it a privilege to be Jaxon's mother and feel like he was definitley supposed to be in my life. The best suprise I ever got!
