Better late than never!

So I have been wanting to post Kyleigh's birthday pictures up for a while, but when got them developed I left my memory card in the kiosk. Thankfully my sister Deanne put my pictures on her computer already. Thanks Deanne! Well these pictures our from our zoo adventure and Kyleigh's birthday party. Enjoy:)

Did you lose some weight?

So I have been feeling down on myself lately because I have been stuck at the same weight for some time now. Vacations and camping also do not help with eating good!!!! I don't know why I give myself such a hard time because I have come a long way. Todays blog is just about me. I was a fat teenager and I don't care if anyone says I wasn't, because I was! I weighed about as much in 8th grade as I did 9 months pregnant with Kyleigh. I remember boys on the bus making fun of me and calling me jiggle,jiggle. That was also part of middle school I am sure, stupid boys. In high school I started to lose weight. I went to 2 years of high school up in Idaho and 2 years in Utah. At the end of my senior year I was finally happy with my weight. Then came college and dating and EATING OUT!!! Then I met Lance and we got pregnant with Jaxon. I put on over 50 lbs with him. After I had him I tried to lose the weight, and it seemed to be coming off slowly but surely. Then we decided to try to get pregnant again. Jaxon was 9 months when I got pregnant with Kyleigh. My poor body! Well when there's a will there's a way! After I had Kyleigh I was determined to loose some weight. So I have done it! I have passed my initial goal, but have made new ones. I hope to meet them by the end of this year. I just want to take the time to brag because I have worked really hard. So I am sorry if this offends anyone. Hopefully I can give you inspiration.



As of last summer, after already having Kyleigh I have lost about 30 lbs. I like to look at the inches more then the weight though! I really don't want to sound like I am bragging, I am just being proud of myself for the moment.

Ok now here is the before and after picture. I was pregnant with Jaxon here. The other isn't the greatest picture, but I didn't want to post the same one from the other Vegas pictures. I weighed over 60 more lbs then I do now. I always am giving myself a hard time, but congrats to me! I am the smaller then I ever was in high school!

Las Vegas Baby!!!!

So we got back from Vegas a week ago, I have just not posted anything. Suprise, suprise!! Well I have actually been reading the Twilight series books, I have become an addict. I actually plan to hurry this blog so I can finish what I have started. To anyone that has not read these books, they are so good. Well I have not finished them all yet, but I am in the middle of the third one.

Anyway, about Vegas. It was so nice to spend some time alone with my husband! He spoiled me while we were there:) It was soo much fun. We went to the Phantom, Mysteire, and KA. He wants to take me back to go and see "O" too soon. We also went on the New york, New york, and up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. There was never a dull moment. I will admit it got a little tiring walking up and down the strip, but it was fun. Lance our next vacation we are going to go to some secluded beach:) Toward the end we missed our kids like crazy and skipped our lunch planned for the Cheesecake Factory and headed home. We are so lucky to have them and so lucky to have Lance's parents that took the time off to watch the little angels. Happy anniversary Lance, 3 years!!!!!

Happy late father's day!!!

So this is like a Father's day/slash update post. This past weekend we went to Idaho because my good friend Grayson got married. It was really fun to see her and be a part of her day. I got to wear a cute little bride's maid dress so it was really fun. We stayed at a hotel with a pool and Kyleigh loves to swim!!!! It's the cutest thing ever, she just loved being in the water and kicking her arms and legs. Jaxon on the other hand was being a big whimp. It is amazing how different your children can be being raised the exact same way.

Anyway for Father's day Amy took pictures of Jaxon, Kyleigh and I. She got them to me so fast and I got to suprise Lance for Father's day. Amy you are awesome!!!!!! Right when he woke up on father's day I showed him the pictures and he just sat there going through them smiling and laughing. It was so fun to see the expressions on his face. I hope that he had a good Father's day and knows how much we love and appreciate him.

One more thing!!! With all of these weddings and everyone going on VACATION, Lance and I decided to go to Vegas! We have never really been anywhere together so I am really excited. I think it will be good for us, and we are really excited. We are staying at the MGM Grand and I plan on soaking up some sun. We are going the end of July so it will be HOT, HOT, HOT. Did I mention how excited we are?

New Family Picture

So for Mother's day little miss Amy took pictures of the whole family, we were lucky enough to get some pictures of our little fam too. I am sorry Amy, I hope you don't mind that I just scanned the picture. I needed a new update for my blog and I thought that would be a good picture.

...Anyways... So we have been a little busy lately and our life is not going to calm down anytime soon. My cousin Jeremy just got married Friday. June is the month of weddings though. My friend Kallee is getting married the 12th. My cousin Nathan gets married June 13th and then my friend Grayson gets married the 14th. I am going to be a bridesmaid in that wedding! It's in Boise and I am excited for it. Tonight I start my new job at Mimi's cafe. I hope that it goes well. I am nervous to serve again, I hope I make good money. Lance had a pretty good semester. I am glad he finally has figured out what he wants to do. He is taking the summer off because they didn't offer any of his classes, so I get to see him a lot more. Kyleigh is going to be turning one June 14th. It's crazy how time flies. These little kids grow up so fast it's crazy. Well I hope to keep up with my blog better. I will try to post how my new job is going.

Ode to my best friend

So I need to put another post up. I have decided that I am just going to write about how greatful I am for my husband. I remember the day I walked into Tony Romas and saw him there. He trained me when I first got a job there. It is so crazy so see how far we have come. I knew he was a great guy when I saw how good he treated his mom He loved and respected her and I knew he was a winner. He is so smart and so talented I feel to blessed to have such a good husband. I know he would do anything and everything to make me happy and take care of me. I have never felt so much love from anyone else in my life. The pictures that I am posting are of our little family. Those green glasses are playdoh. I just threw one of Kyleigh on easter because she looks like a girl, without that bow she just looks like Jaxon to me. Not only is he the best husband; he is the best daddy ever. Kyleigh and Jaxon are so excited when they see him, it is so cute! I know we have only been married for 2 1/2 years, but it just feels perfect. I feel like he is my other half. I never get tired of him and I always want to be with him. I look forward to everyday I get to spend with him. I can't wait until he is done with school, but that won't be for a few years. I know that everything happens for a reason and the lord knows what he is doing. I think we sometimes just need to trust in him and try to make the best of what he lies before us. I wouldn't change a thing that has happened in my life and I am thankful for the trials in life that make us learn and become better people. I love you Lance:)

It's coming!!!

So yesterday I wanted to attempt to put some gel in Kyleigh's hair. It turned out pretty cute and I can not wait til more comes in. She has no teeth yet either!!! I am totally fine with that though, I just wish she would get some hair. I think it will be curly when it does come in, but we will see what the future has in store. Today I went and got all of the pictures on my camera developed which I have been waiting to do for some time now. We had about 400 on the memory card. Now I have some pictures to start scrapbooking with. I have never really done it before but am excited to see how creative I secretly am. I have decided that I need to find some time of hobby so if anyone has any ideas feel free to give me some ideas. I am so excited for the summer time! This weather has got to go. Well I better go before this gets too boring.
