Did you lose some weight?

So I have been feeling down on myself lately because I have been stuck at the same weight for some time now. Vacations and camping also do not help with eating good!!!! I don't know why I give myself such a hard time because I have come a long way. Todays blog is just about me. I was a fat teenager and I don't care if anyone says I wasn't, because I was! I weighed about as much in 8th grade as I did 9 months pregnant with Kyleigh. I remember boys on the bus making fun of me and calling me jiggle,jiggle. That was also part of middle school I am sure, stupid boys. In high school I started to lose weight. I went to 2 years of high school up in Idaho and 2 years in Utah. At the end of my senior year I was finally happy with my weight. Then came college and dating and EATING OUT!!! Then I met Lance and we got pregnant with Jaxon. I put on over 50 lbs with him. After I had him I tried to lose the weight, and it seemed to be coming off slowly but surely. Then we decided to try to get pregnant again. Jaxon was 9 months when I got pregnant with Kyleigh. My poor body! Well when there's a will there's a way! After I had Kyleigh I was determined to loose some weight. So I have done it! I have passed my initial goal, but have made new ones. I hope to meet them by the end of this year. I just want to take the time to brag because I have worked really hard. So I am sorry if this offends anyone. Hopefully I can give you inspiration.



As of last summer, after already having Kyleigh I have lost about 30 lbs. I like to look at the inches more then the weight though! I really don't want to sound like I am bragging, I am just being proud of myself for the moment.

I have lost; chest 5"
left arm 2 1/4 "
right arm 1 3/4"
waist 6 1/2"
hips 6 3/4"
left thigh 4 3/4"
right thigh 4 3/4"

total: 31 1/2"


Ok now here is the before and after picture. I was pregnant with Jaxon here. The other isn't the greatest picture, but I didn't want to post the same one from the other Vegas pictures. I weighed over 60 more lbs then I do now. I always am giving myself a hard time, but congrats to me! I am the smaller then I ever was in high school!

Kathy you look so good! Good job on the weight loss. That reminds me of the days in body conditioning- you, me and Aubrey. Seems like a long time ago!

I don't know if i said it in the vegas post but when i was looking at those pics i thought holy cow she looks awesome! YOu really do you make me jealous. I wanna be skinny again.

way to freaking go. i feel you there. I have always struggled with my weight and only been happy with it once in my life, junior year during the miss Syracuse pageant. And having kids really does change your body in not so great ways. i need the motivation! And looking at your hot bod does inspire me!! congrats to you, i bet you feel so good!

Wow you look amazing! No stretch marks? LUCKY!!! Even if I lose all the weight I want to, I still have ugly stretches...permanent proof of pregnancy! Keep up the good work! What did you do, if I may be so bold to ask?

How did I loose the weight? I watched what I ate, and I did eat! That helps!! Don't skip meals, just make sure you are eating good things. I drink a lot of water and the only other liquid I drink is fat free milk. I try to watch the carbs and eat good sources of protein. Don't forget the fruits and veggies too. I also have a lot of work out videos. Just going to the gym running on the treadmill doesn't do it for me. I mix up my work out videos. I have aerobics, pilates, yoga, and I have a couple of different ab videos. I also try to get as much sleep as I can, which gets difficult sometimes. One major bonus was I breatfed my little girl til she was one. That helps burn more calories, but not a good diet plan.
